There is a rare quality in this world… patience. Endless amount of patience a dancer has to have in order to allow himself/herself the time to develop properly. But when that endless amount of patience meets raw talent and willingness to work hard every single day – a great dancer is born.
Mouaze Konaté, international dancer representing of the Salsa New-York On2 in Paris (France). Charismatic character, showman, very good social dancer (with everybody). Its style, its technique and its pedagogy, attracts(entices) more and more the passionate persons of this magnificent dance ” The Salsa “.
Mouaze have a palette of shows very interesting by their choreographic variety, (romantica, Afro, jazzy, mambo, etc.)
Why we chose Mouaze
When we start to dance, too often we skip the basics as soon as we can, and rush for the flashy combinations and difficult moves in a relentless pursuit of recognition and admiration thus sinfully forgetting the utmost importance of the time solid foundations require to develop.
This catches on all of us… with no mercy, compassion or forgiveness… Sooner or later, the frozen hand of reality and incompetence pulls our left shoulder in an inevitable und irrefutable demand to make two steps back and pay the double price for the lessons we rushed through. Double price to unlearn the mistakes and another double price to learn the lessons correctly all over again. We all make the same mistake… We are humans… That’s what we do. There is no shame or disgrace in that.
No one listens the ragged advice teacher so righteously repeats: “master the basics and slowly progress like building a house”. House-Shmouse I say. Whatever old man, I want to be great and I will not waste my precious time repeating what I already know. Destiny awaits and I will be ready when it comes. I will be great.
There is a rare quality in this world… patience. Endless amount of patience a dancer has to have in order to allow himself the time to develop properly. But when that endless amount of patience meets raw talent and willingness to work hard every single day – a great dancer is born.
Mouaze was one of our first invitations to the Salsa Beach Spalsh Festival.
We invited him because he is a poster boy for what can be accomplished when enormous talent meets determination and willingness to daily bleed on the dance floor while perfecting the moves he set himself to conquer.
Mouaze Konate brings pure artistry, adorable fluidity and tons of imagination to the stage. We fell in love the first time we saw him dance and we want to share that love with you.
On top of his magnificent performing skills, Mouaze is one of the best salsa teachers we know that has an outstanding ability to transfer skill and knowledge to his students.
