Imagine a place where all dancers can come between workshops or at any time of day, where they can listen to the salsa music, dance, just lie in the warm sun, swim in the sea or have fun in the pool. All in one place, all day long. Hot Spot is the heart of the Salsa Beach Splash Festival. So, do roam around, visit the city and browse other locations and everything – but come back to the Hot Spot. We will all be there. We will socialize, have fun, dance on the sun and get the most out of that summer thingy.

What can I do there?All summer activities are obligatory. Croatians take their vacation seriously and we strongly suggest you do too. So, just chill out in the pirate ship bar in the belly of the ship, go to the 1st deck and soak up the sun, throw yourself in the pool with a refreshing splash, dance, grab a snack, chat with your friends, meet other new and old friends salseros, and enjoy your ass off. The beach is a few steps away, few restaurants 30 seconds walking distance away, workshop halls minutes away and watersports center 2 minutes away if that’s your fancy. Everything is close and you don’t need to worry about transportation or timing. We brought you to the location where you can do every summer activity you can think of so enjoy all of them and get the most out of your stay at Salsa Beach Splash Festival.

Inside the Solaris Complex a pirate ship has been sunk a long, long time ago, serendipitously near a beautiful sandy beach! The ship’s very sight tells tales of countless adventures on Caribbean islands, of questionable authenticity perhaps, but why nit-pick… And it’s exactly this ship that we’ve chosen for the gathering place for all salseros in need of endless fun. The pirate ship stretches onto a pool with slide for the more playful of spirit, and you can be on the beach before you can say Pica-boo. |

The Hot Spot user manual
The proper usage of a Hot Spot explained. Please follow the manual and you will be happy. We don’t take any responsibility for any misuse of a festival Hot Spot.
Dance all day long
To dance is to be alive. Come to the hot spot and dance the day away. We just can’t get enough of dancing and we hope you can’t too. Dance until your feet fail you, but save the last ounce of your strength as the sun is setting down for the night is coming and the dawn is many hours away.
Drown yourself in cocktails
If cocktails are your poison of choice, you are at the right place. Cute bartender dressed as a pirate will mix any exotic extravagance you can think of and will keep’em coming till you throw him overboard. Position yourself at the first deck if you can handle the sun or in the belly of the ship if you prefer solitude and privacy (yeah, right).
Dip your feet in the pool
For some unknown reason, dippin’ your feet in a pool feels like therapy and blessing at the same time. Don’t overthink it, just do it. It’s great. Accept the fact that it has to be done. And a man has to do what a man has to do. Ladies too.
Do the water-slide like you’re
a 7-year old
Never understood why adults don’t do those great things we all did while we were kids… Come on people, don’t neglect those childhood bestsellers! Water slides are one of those great things in life that were just drop-dead-awesome! Don’t miss it for the world. Waterslides are our friends.
Flash the crowd with your newly
obtained six-pack
If this is your cup of tea you can do that too. It’s always nice to have bunch of chiseled bodies roaming around. Whether it’s a six-pack, perfect sun tan, new bikini or a recent tattoo (preferably “Salsa or bust” written from your left cheek to the right thigh) – show them off! If you’re not a proud owner of some flashy thingy like those mentioned above, don’t worry – bring your smile, buckets of good mood and handful of joy. They will get you much further anyway. They always do.
Enjoy animations
We are all individuals and that’s great. But from time to time there’s no better thing than to be a part of a joyful-1000-man-and-woman-ball-of-fire-in-a-pool-moving-as-one. To be a part of that of energy is better than sex and cheaper than drugs. If you never participated – do now; if you did – do it again. It’s just loads of pure, unadulterated fun.
