About 6 km from Šibenik’s city centre, located in the Solaris Beach Resort, sits the sand beach, bearer of the international award for sea cleanliness, “The Blue Flag”. The beach is around 700 m long, covered with sand and fine pebbles. All Croatian beaches have a large amount of sun and sea to boast about, but only rarely sand. And the Solaris Sand Beach is one of them. But even if you aren’t a sand lover, on the four kilometer long shoreline of the Solaris Beach Resort you will surely find your own little corner. |
You can slide gently into a number of activities Solaris has to offer – diving lessons, jet ski, pedal boats, kayak, sandoline, canoe, surf boarding, or perhaps you can gaze into the depths of the Adriatic out of Solaris yellow submarine. How to get the most out of The Sand Beach?
Let go…
The good thing with beaches is that – if they are gorgeous as this one – they’ll do all the leg work for you. Just appear at the beach and the next thing you know – you’ll feel good. You’ll feel relaxed, refreshed and ready for anything life keeps in his sleeve for you. So just let go.
Don’t resist
The beach has a plan for you. Trying to resist will get you nowhere. However great plan you think you have – beach has a better one. The secret with the beach is to surrender and look for the signs. And you better watch out closely for signs are different… Sometimes it’s music… Sometimes it’s a familiar face… And sometimes it’s a just a glympse of harmonious movements… You will know when you see one.
Don’t push it
That’s the thing with beaches, if you force yourself to the beach nothing good can come out of it. Beaches are gentle creatures; they need to be approached tenderly and slowly. With a relaxed mind and a pure heart.
Follow
There’s one good thing you can do with the beach: follow it. Just follow the beach as it reveals its beauty beneath your bare feet. Footprint by a footprint in the soft sand, the beach will take you on a journey that will gently surprise you at every corner. Maybe you will find an ankle-deep pool where you can relax and take time to admire how nice sky is… and life too.
