Why do dancers go to the foreign countries and attend salsa festivals thousand miles away from home?
Some dancers travel to learn from famous artists, some to attend great parties, some to meet their friends… But most of all – we all go to meet other dancers! To dance with dancers we never danced before. We go to meet new cultures and to communicate with this beautiful language that all of us have in common – Salsa. So if dancers are the main reason we travel – then we have a treat for you:
At the Thursday’s “Nice to Meet You Party”, all Croatian salsa dancers will have a mark (a color strip) – that will enable you to recognize them
(well, at least those who will want to label themselves – but we are sure many of them will)
Dance with us, meet us, get to know us and enjoy famous Croatian hospitality.

Btw, there is a cute practice in tango community and maybe we could borrow this for a day: If two people on the party meet looking at each other – if neither of them removes the focus for few seconds – that is considered as an invitation to dance. Cute isn’t it?
Here is an idea, use it if you like.
So chose your dance partners at the festival as you like, but join us in this effort and dance as much as you can with Croatian dancers on Thursday.
