Croatia is a beautiful country you should see before you die. We put together a great touristic destination and a salsa festival so you can enjoy both with one stroke :)
Since the Salsa Beach Splash festival wants to unite all the joys of life in a single package, we have made a list of non-salsa related reasons why you should come to the Salsa Beach Splash! Our wish is that to you this should be both a festival and a holiday! Therefore, as you’re already in this beautiful city, and in this small Mediterranean country with one of the prettiest seas in the world, you should leave with the most beautiful memories.
Bungee Jumping from the
Šibenik bridge
„The last step before the jump is the moment when freedom feels the closest it could…“
Georgios Ampatzidis, Some guy from Greece, 2010
![]() |
Have you ever bungee jumped? If you haven’t – this is a perfect opportunity to finally muster the courage and experience the rush of adrenaline. Just 4 km to the west of Šibenik, at the intersection of main road and shipping lines is the spectacular Šibenik bridge (40 m high, above the Adriatic Sea, with a harbour of 362 m) with a beautiful view. This is the first and best bungee venue in Croatia. For this brave feat you’ll be prepared by the pleasant and fun-loving crew of the bungee club, so that the only thing you will need is a little (ok, a lot) of courage, and 3, 2, 1 – JUMP! |
Bungee terminology:
„Bungee From Sibenik Bridge“
A term that quickens the pulse and stirs the imagination, refers to the challenge and excitement of throwing yourself off a bridge high above the Adriatic see attached by a rubber band.

Krka National Park
![]() |
Skradinski buk and Roški falls are without a doubt some of the most beautiful waterfalls, and real miracles of nature. Krka National Park is rich and varied, with numerous endemic, rare and endangered species, which makes Krka one of the most precious natural habitats in Croatia and Europe. Don’t miss the little island of Vosovac, which is an incredible combination of human culture and nature. Let yourself go, and experience original beauty, which only mother nature can create, and the swim in the refreshing water! Do we have to say that for this Croatian gem we’ve also organized a boat trip at a favourable price? |
Fortresses surrounding the city of Šibenik
![]() |
Take the time while you’re at the festival and plan a visit to all the fortifications around Šibenik! Experience a breath of the past and enjoy a view worthy of astonishment! Straddle the narrow stone streets of ancient civilizations and let yourself be swept away by the story! This is the best way to taste and live the real Mediterranean charm exuded by this city, and Dalmatia itself. Especially interesting is the fortress on a tiny island in the sea – the fort of St. Nicholas. Although it actually never served its main purpose, it’s an interesting monument and an adornment of the city. |

Ancient City of Dubrovnik
“Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik”
George Bernard Shaw
![]() |
The city walls of Dubrovnik are some of the most monumental fortifications in Europe. This untouched destination gives a picture of the city, recognizable across the world, and makes Dubrovnik the most beautiful city in the Mediterranean. George Bernard Shaw was enchanted by this beautiful city, about which he said “Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik”, as well as, famously, describing it as “the pearl of the Adriatic”. Dubrovnik truly is a stunning city with its amazing Old Town, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. But whatever we and others say, our words do not give justice to this magnificent place. So come and see it with your own eyes! |
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Do you want to see one the most beautiful waterfalls in the world?
![]() |
One of the largest jewels and prides of Croatia is certainly this incredible park. If any place in the world deserves beautiful words then this would be it! There isn’t a man blind enough, or one with a heart cold enough, that won’t be able to recognize the divine and sublime beauty of this place. If these words don’t mean a thing then you’ll simply have to visit the place and convince yourself. If I’m lying – may I be run over by a train on the spot! =) And those who need commendations – Plitvice national Park is listed on the List of world heritage sites (UNESCO) and this already in 1979, among the first in the world, and its numerous waterfalls are found on almost every list of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. |
Diocletian Palace
![]() |
The central part of the city of Split is a web of narrow stone streets, antique monuments and medieval buildings one of which is Diocletian’s palace. The Palace was named after its creator, the Roman emperor Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletian. It is one of the best preserved monuments of roman architecture, and is the cornerstone on which the city of Split grew. This exceptional building by the very sea is the last home of this strong and powerful roman emperor. Exceptionally preserved to this very day, the remnants of this building from antiquity, together with later medieval constructions form a valuable archaeological, historical and artistic |
complex for which, in the year 1979, it was entered into UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites. The place which the great roman emperor chose for his summer residence, where he would spend his last days, will certainly deserve your admiration so we’ve organized a visit to Split.
Mediterranean food
![]() |
Mediterranean cuisine signifies a special culture of preparation and the enjoyment of food, which developed and established itself near the shore of the Mediterranean. It is distinguished by intense aromas and large diversity, as well as a richness of colour. It’s one of the healthiest cuisines in the world and many diets are based expressly on Mediterranean dishes. And so that we translate words into dishes, here you’ll be eating: fish, oysters, crabs and other fruits of the sea, stews and we mustn’t forget the very best – Dalmatian prosciutto, cheese and olive. If you think ham and prosciutto are the same thing, we’ll use this |
opportunity to dissuade you. The word ham is used only for lack of a better translation for prosciutto. Prosciutto is something everyone should try and enjoy. Supplement it with a bottle of quality wine, good cheese and a few olives and the experience will be unforgettable. And for all fish lover and those who don’t eat meat we recommend that you savour the tastes of fresh, juicy fish served with plenty of healthy and tasty olive oil. Simply put – a culinary paradise!
